At Panacea Children’s Home, safeguarding is not just a requirement it’s a commitment. We are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment where the welfare and protection of every young person is paramount.

Our Safeguarding Approach

We take a trauma-informed, whole-team approach to safeguarding. All staff are trained to recognise and respond to signs of harm, and we operate with vigilance, transparency, and accountability.

Our safeguarding practice is embedded through:

Robust daily routines and risk assessments
A positive, relational behaviour model
Clear reporting procedures
Ongoing supervision and reflective practice

We are governed by the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and follow the statutory guidance set out in Working Together to Safeguard Children.

At Panacea, all staff are trained in safeguarding from induction onwards. We foster a culture where concerns are raised quickly, responded to appropriately, and reviewed carefully because every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and protected.
